Gabriella Lewenz is an American - New Zealand artist based on Waiheke Island.
Born and raised in Greece and lived in Pakistan before returning to USA in her early teens. She studied at Rhode Island School of Design and at Boston Museum School of Fine Arts - at Tufts - BFA.

Her abstract painting are expressive of Waiheke Island's beautiful sea and land surrounds, creating stunning large colourfield paintings in oils. 
Currently she is working on a series in oak barrel staves.

She's exhibited in galleries in NYC, Boston, CT, Italy and Auckland and continues to draw the admiration of collectors around the world.  Her works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Austria, UK, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Hong Kong, India, Tahiti, Australia, Turkey, Japan and Singapore.
With her commission works, Gabriella offers gentle and respectful insight as she explores what you want to have conveyed in your commissioned work of art.
